What are the penalties for receiving Strikes?

Losing Stars and gaining Strikes will gradually limit your access to lessons and new students.

• 1 Strike OR only 4 Stars: You will lose access to Unassigned Lessons.
• 2 Strikes OR only 3 Stars: You will lose access to Unassigned Lessons and lesson requests from new students. You'll only be able to accept lessons from students that you have taught before and choose to book more lessons with you.
• 3 Strikes (3-Strikeout) OR only 2 Stars : If you accumulate 3 Strikes or have only 2 Stars over the course of 2 weeks, you will not be able to schedule future lessons and your account will be deactivated. You'll have to make an appeal through the Reactivation Request form.
• 10 Accumulated Strikes (10-Strikeout): If you accumulate 10 Strikes or more over the course of your time on the platform, your account will automatically be deactivated and you'll have to make an appeal through the Reactivation Request form.

Note: we keep a record of your accumulated strikes (this is not visible on your profile and it does not impact your visibility or access to lessons).
